Of the many beautiful places to fly fish in Colorado – this is one of them. Fishing the headwaters of the Arkansas River in Hayden Meadows – just south of Leadville – affords views of Mt. Albert, Mt. Massive, and the Collegiate Peaks. These views, the aggressive brownies, and the occasional rainbow make it one of my favorite places to fish.
